Ulla Sallert
Ulla Sonja Sallert, born Andersson, was a Swedish stage and screen actress and singer. She graduated from the Royal Swedish Academy of Music in 1943, made her film debut in Börje Larsson's "Det är min musik" (1942), and stage debut at Oscarsteatern, Stockholm, in the operetta "Serenade" in 1944. Ulla Sallert became one of the foremost operetta and musical singers in Sweden in the 1950s. She was part of the original cast of "Ben Franklin in Paris"(1964-65); the role of Diane de Vobrillac was written especially for her.
