Episode 9

The Prince hides himself in SZE’s trousseau box and manages to escape midway through the journey. CHAI learns from the messenger that SZE is on her way from Yuet to Ng. He is overjoyed by the news. SHUI’s son NG FUNG offers to assassinate SZE but is subdued by LAI. The assassination turns out to be a failure. SHUI who tries to kill SZE has a terrible fight with LAI at the entrance of the capital city. Immediately PEI gets into the capital city to look for CHAI. LAI and SHUI are neck and neck in the duel and the matter is not settled until CHAI comes along. SHUI claims that he is taken ill and refuses to see CHAI. PEI then goes to have a talk with CHAI.
